Enter two birthdays. We find both Sun signs, then show how those two signs get along: what works, where you may rub, and tips that help.

This reading uses your Sun signs only: their elements, modes and the angle between them. Here's why.
A birthday on a cusp day gives two possible pairs. Pick the one to read:

You + them
Send a link to a partner, a friend or family. They add their own details on their own phone, and you both see how you compare.

How it works
Every line says why it's there, from three facts you can check yourself: each sign's element, its mode, and the angle between the two signs.
- Your birthday gives your Sun sign: the sign the Sun was in on the day you were born. With the year, we use that year's real date for the change of sign, so a cusp day is checked, not guessed.
- We compare three facts. The element: fire, earth, air or water. The mode: cardinal (starts things), fixed (keeps them going) or mutable (adapts). And the angle between the two signs on the zodiac wheel.
- Each line of the reading comes from those facts. It is fixed text written for each pair, so nothing is generated while you wait. What you enter never leaves your device.
The seven angles between two signs
- Same sign (0°)
- Same element and same mode. Easy understanding, and the same blind spots.
- Semi-sextile (30°)
- Next-door signs with no element or mode in common. Curious about each other, and learning a lot.
- Sextile (60°)
- Friendly elements, fire with air or earth with water. Easy and encouraging, with room to grow.
- Square (90°)
- Same mode, clashing elements. Friction that pushes you both, and asks for real effort.
- Trine (120°)
- Same element. The smoothest flow, so the risk is getting too comfortable.
- Quincunx (150°)
- No element or mode in common and no straight line between you. Constant small adjustments.
- Opposition (180°)
- Opposite signs: same mode, friendly elements. A strong pull, and each has what the other lacks.
Elements and modes
- Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius): warm, quick, enthusiastic.
- Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn): practical, steady, sensual.
- Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius): curious, social, talkative.
- Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces): feeling, intuitive, protective.
- Cardinal signs start things, fixed signs keep them going, mutable signs adapt.
Sun signs are a small part
Your Sun sign is one placement in a birth chart that also holds the Moon, the rising sign and eight planets. Two people with an easy Sun-sign pair can struggle, and a hard pair can be very happy.
Read this as a conversation starter, not a verdict. For the full picture, compare both birth charts. It needs birth times and places, and it's free here too.

Questions people ask
- What is the most compatible zodiac sign?
- No sign is best for everyone. Signs of the same element (a trine) and of friendly elements (a sextile) are traditionally called the easiest. Easy isn't the same as happy, though, and every pair has real strengths.
- How does zodiac compatibility work?
- It compares two Sun signs by element, mode and the angle between them. Those three facts explain why some pairs flow and others rub.
- Is zodiac compatibility accurate?
- It's an honest sketch, not a prediction. Sun signs are one part of each chart, and real relationships depend on much more. A full birth chart compare goes far deeper. Compare your full birth charts
- What if I was born on a cusp?
- On the day the Sun changes sign, your sign depends on your birth time. Add your birth year and we can tell whether the change happened on your birthday that year. Your time and place in the full chart settle it.
- Do I need my birth time?
- Not here: two birthdays are enough. The full birth chart compare needs a time and place for the Moon, the rising sign and the houses.
- Can I compare friends or family?
- Yes. Every pair has a friends and family part with no romance in it.
- Is my data stored?
- No. Everything is worked out on your device. A shared link carries the result after the # sign, a part of the address that never reaches our server.
